Founder and Owner George Collier founded the Tennis Academy in the summer of 1976 while touring as a tennis professionale in Northern California competition and residing in San Francisco. In 1979 the Academy moved to it's permanent home at the Holiday Inn (Holidome) in Modesto where we resided until 1987. In 1987 the Academy moved to the city of Oakdale at Oakdale Golf and Country Club until 1994, and for a brief period in 1994 the Academy operated in Arnold, California at Sequoia Woods Country Club. In 1997 we opened The (Internationale) Academy of Tennis and tennis training facilities in Germany and in Holland.
